    借着高中最后一个暑假的时间,根据未来的专业,这次的社会实践,我选在了银行。刚放假没多久,从七月3日起,我便开始了在银行为期两周的实习。

    印象中的银行,是神秘的。柜台里成天用印钞机数钱,为客户开卡,可以说是离毛爷爷最近,也是跟全世界人民最喜欢的东西打交道最频繁的工作机会。但当真正步入银行工作,我才发现,以前的认知太肤浅了。

    从实习那天,我便早早地起床,开始了朝九晚五的上班族工作。我所选择的实习单位是兴业银行,位于重庆的市中心解放碑。早上九点左右,我就到了银行。第一天,大堂经理带我简单地了解了一下银行的构造,柜台,对公,房贷,理财,开户,自动取款机......,短短半个小时的介绍颠覆了我以前对银行的印象。了解完,我便正式开始工作了。因为是刚开始,对银行的整个工作系统才一知半解,我就负责简单的接待客户--------大堂经理助理。不一会儿,一个一个的客户便来了,首先,我要做的是不厌其烦地重复:您好,你要办什么业务?如果客户给予回应,我们应该按照他的要求办事,如取号,开户等。有的客户并不会给予理财,这时,也不能沮丧。在银行工作,本来就是为人民服务,服务业当然需要极大的耐心了。

说到开户,这也是来银行之前最想做的一件事情,通俗点,就是开一张银行卡。前年我也在银行开了一张,便于存储压岁钱,但具体流程也没怎么弄清楚。借这个机会,我总算明白了开户的流程。总的来说,开户有两种方式,一般都在机器上开;但有时机器反应迟钝,我们便会要求客户到柜台去操作。无论哪种方式,都必须填至少两张单子,一张个人信息,一张手机号,完成后,拿着客户身份证,在机器上根据上面的要求填写就行了。最后,打印下来的凭证还需顾客签字。大堂经理特别强调说,客户的信息单一定要交给银行保留,否则会很麻烦。所以,每次客户开户成功后,单子我都会小心翼翼地放在前台的桌上,背面朝上,以免的个人信息被泄露。

    有时,客户也许是来咨询理财的信息。说实话,我对这方面一窍不通,他们问起来也会比较尴尬。这时,我会赔着笑脸把他们送到专门的理财顾问那里,了解更权威的信息。

    接下来的十天里,银行的其他工作人员告诉我,银行给客户的第一印象便是整洁,让人看上去赏心悦目,客户才有心情在咱们这儿办理业务。前台的整洁尤为重要。我负责接待,我便有义务把前台的资料整理好,一些毫不相关的书籍是不能摆放在桌上的。同时,当客户办理完需要填写非个人信息的业务时,如开户,激活信用卡,转账,我便要去检查桌上的资料有没有放进应放的抽屉里,笔是否盖上笔盖,开户的单子是否已用完,并及时添加新的资料。另外,银行的理财信息也讲究一个及时性,即定时的信息必须更新。作为前台的接待者,过一段时间,我便会去询问大堂经理,打印当下最新的理财资料,给柜台,主任,前台和理财顾问的桌下更换纸张,为客户提供最新的信息。

    不论在哪个行业的工作,一旦熟练起来,便是不断的重复。在这过程中,有些人会抱怨学不到东西,但我觉得,在工作的时候,用相同的方式接待不同的客户,用多种方法解决问题,学到的并不比在学校的少。做任何事情,一旦做到了极致,便体现了它的价值。感谢银行,让我对做事的态度变得更加严谨,对人更有耐心。

 

Community Service -- Working at the New Industrial Bank

This summer, after deciding the future major in the university-business, my parents wanted me to cultivate some experiences by volunteering to work at one of the banks in Chongqing. Eventually, we chose the Industrial Bank. From the 7.3, I started my two week internship there.

  In the past, I thought that working at the bank was mysterious. The work simply involved opening the account for the clients, counting money and tallying the bill. After being instructed by the staff there, the previous understanding was too superficial.

   From that day on, I was no more on the vacation, I started to get up early and got the same daily routine as the normal white collar. The bank is situated in the downtown, near the liberation Monument. At the beginning, my job was the reception, whenever a client came to the bank, we needed to ask their request really patiently, if they went here on purpose, we must tell him or her which counter she would go to do the transaction. As a novice there, I could use the ATM to help clients withdraw or save money, open an account or printing the bill. I have opened an account the year before last year in order to save the money, but I still did not figure out how it worked. Though working in the bank for two weeks, I learned that the job required undivided attention, patience, as well as the background knowledge of finance and knowledge in the related fields.

   One of the managers told me that the impression which bank left on their clients was crucial. Where on the desk, everything must be in order, pens must be capped, while papers and documents also need to be arranged in order. As a receptionist, whenever the information about the investment is updated, I need to print it from computer and replace the old ones for the sake to provide the latest information for the customers.

   No matter where you work, make sure to try your best and meet the expectation of your own and the boss. I really appreciate the opportunity to work in the bank as it has helped me to do things carefully and reach for the best as well as a correct approach to talk with others.
